First and foremost, I hope everyone enjoyed some wonderful quality time with family and friends over the holidays. This new year was an especially important one for me because it capped off an incredibly exciting year in our organization.
Some of you might know me from working with me at SchoolMint. Others of you might not. For those who don’t, I co-founded SchoolMint back in 2013, and for six years (!) now, the company has been partnering with school networks and districts across the country, providing strategic enrollment management solutions. This past year, we integrated with another incredible EdTech provider, Hero K12.
As of January 1, 2019, Hero and SchoolMint are one company, proudly carrying the SchoolMint name. We’ve united over one inspiring purpose: to help educators create bright, sustainable futures.
And I can’t say enough how strongly I feel that this is one exciting place to be. Perhaps I’ll let our company’s new tagline sum it up for me…
We’re still offering the same products that nearly 9,000 schools across the nation depend on: Hero, our student behavior improvement tool, and our strategic enrollment management tools for Application & Lottery Management, Registration, Re-enrollment, SchoolFinder, Common Application, and School Outreach & Marketing.
What I’m most excited about is that, by combining these products into one SchoolMint platform, we’re able to make ALL of our products even better for our school partners. Hero’s integration with SchoolMint has allowed us to devote even more development, support, and success team resources to the product. And at SchoolMint, we’re benefiting beyond measure by incorporating everyone from both teams into one extended family. (We’re also happy to announce that we’re growing, so please keep on eye on our open positions here.)
In 2019, we’ve got so many powerful stories to share, so many exciting features coming to our products, and so much growth happening on our trusted, student-centric platform, you’ll want to stay tuned.
From here on out, it’s bright years ahead.
